Hi, I’m Michael Fortado, your local State Farm agent here in Plano, TX. I grew up just down the road in Flower Mound and graduated from the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!). My wife, Danielle, and I have been married for eight years, and we live here with our black lab, Tucker—he pretty much runs the house. I opened my agency after spending several years working in another State Farm office, where I learned how important it is to have someone you can call who actually picks up the phone and knows what they’re talking about. Now, I get to work with an amazing team helping people with auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, renters insurance, and business coverage every day. Whether you’re moving to the area, reviewing your current coverage, or just looking for someone local to talk things through with, I’m here to help. We work with individuals and families across Plano, Frisco, Richardson, Dallas, Flower Mound, McKinney, Allen, and the greater DFW area.
